An estate in the countryside, kept for dogs.
A private eight-acre estate in Northern New Jersey, where dogs live and learn in a lodge with a team on site day and night.
A home at the heart of eight acres.
The Maddie Ranch is a lodge of more than 5,000 square feet set on eight private acres of Northern New Jersey countryside. Guests live in a home, keep the rhythms of a household, and are never without company: a team of trained dog professionals is on site around the clock.

The grounds, by name.
Every guest comes to know five places.
The Courtyard
Where evenings wind down around the fire.
The Great Lawn
Where mornings begin.
The Woods
A fenced turf yard set into the forest.
The Lodge
More than 5,000 square feet of home.
The Walks
Structure in motion, the pack moving as one.
House manners, learned in a home.
Habits are formed where a dog lives. Guests here learn indoors, in a lodge that runs like a family home: thresholds to wait at, visitors to greet calmly, long afternoons to rest through.
By the time a guest returns to your house, a well-run household is something they already understand.
Afternoons among the pack.
Set into the forest is a fenced turf yard where the pack spends its afternoons. Play here is part of the curriculum: balanced dogs show newer arrivals how to greet, how to yield, how to settle.
The trees do the rest. An afternoon outdoors makes for an easy evening.
The walk, done properly.
Every day at the ranch opens the same way: a structured walk, the pack moving side by side on loose leashes across the grounds. It is not a stroll. The walk is where a dog learns to follow, and everything else here is built on it.
New arrivals take their place beside the balanced dogs and learn the pace of the group. When the walk is calm here, it comes home calm too.
“Owners call it a resort. We call it home.”
Nature is the classroom here: room to run, a pack to belong to, and the quiet of the countryside working on every new arrival.
The shape of a day.
No two residencies are identical, but every day keeps the same calm rhythm.
A walk on the great lawn
The day opens with a structured walk, side by side across the grass, before anything else is asked.
Training, one idea at a time
Guests work with the team on the morning's lessons: the leash, the threshold, the calm that everything else is built on.
Rest in the lodge
Quiet hours indoors. The off switch is practiced here, not hoped for.
Into the woods with the pack
Play and social time in the turf yard among balanced dogs, with the team close by.
The evening meal, then the slow hours
Dinner is served, and the household winds down the way households do.
Nights in the lodge, never alone
Guests sleep in private quarters inside the lodge, with the team on site. Someone is always home.
A private ranch, by design.
The address of the ranch is not published. It is shared with accepted families, and visits are welcomed by appointment. The quiet is deliberate: it belongs to the residents.

The ranch, in their words.
“Best decision ever.. He has overcome a lot and is able to walk around Hoboken.. Love them so much that he still attends camp twice weekly! Everyone there is super knowledgeable and friendly. Can't say enough good things about them.”

“If you witnessed how it was previously, this is the closest thing to a miracle I've ever experienced… For this reason, I have not and will not train my dogs anywhere else… I am eternally grateful to The Pack. Next puppy we get, our first stop will be The Maddie Ranch!”
